Syesha Mercado Welcome Home Party

So what if she didn't win American Idol this year--...local fans can still come and celebrate with Syesha Mercado tomorrow evening at Gulfstream Park for her welcome home party. If you're lucky, she might sing a couple of tunes but according to the press release below, she'll probably just be on hand hanging out and greeting fans.

Syeisha Mercado, the second runner-up of the top-rated television program American Idol will meet her fans and pose for photographs at a welcome-home party held in her honor at Gulfstream Park’s Frank’s Energy Beach at 7 p.m., Wednesday June 4.
DJ Stevie M will spin the tunes, and guests can enjoy bar and food service. VIP bottle and champagne service are also available.
Mercado, a Miami-Dade County resident and Florida International University student, will soon embark on a yearlong nationwide tour with other American Idol finalists.

You can also party with her this Thursday at Karu & Y where she'll be hosting an event as well.
If she keeps on singing like she does here in this video, she'll be a star fairly soon regardless of her third place finish on the show.
