A Day Without Mexicans
I have no idea, to be perfectly frank. But I feel like the answer, by and large, is going to be no. I'm stating this merely as an uneducated guess with no input from the circulation department (probably should have called them), and am really just basing this on nothing but the number of Mexicans I personally know living in Miami (4). There are many more, I know, but that's beside the point. The point is, I don't think many are turning here for their music news and that's partly my fault. If I'm going to blog about Latin music, damnit, my information really should entertain all kinds of interests, whether your fancy is one of the many cool fusion bands our fine city has produced, or more traditional forms of music, like the myriad genres of Cuban, Colombian, Dominican, Puerto Rican, Chilean, Surinamian or what have you. So I'm going to go ahead and let you guys in on this.
