Frankie Knuckles, the Godfather of House, at Vagabond this Saturday

Frankie Knuckles is hardly a man who needs introduction. The legendary DJ/producer is a pivotal figure in the history of house music, having begun his stellar career alongside Larry Levan in NYC and as resident DJ at the Warehouse in '70s Chicago, back when house music was still an experimental offshoot of disco. Not one to fade away into the past, however, Frankie has managed to stay at the forefront of dance music for three decades and his latest output, including a remix of Hercules & Love Affair's "Blind" continues to command dancefloors worldwide. Mr. Knuckles' performance is hosted by (who else?) Back Door Bamby, who we can credit for bringing the gloriously decadent sounds of disco house back to Miami since The Vagabond opened its doors last year. Don't forget to arrive early so you can enjoy complimentary Belvedere Vodka cocktails from 10 to 11 p.m.!
