Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes Play Alligator Alley Tonight for $10
![]() |
The band has been a staple of the New Orleans Jazz Fest, playing four out of the last five years. And its albums, though mostly composed of badass brass and down-home funk, have included heavy metal spoofs along the lines of Tenacious D. It's also very appropriate that they're playing Alligator Alley, considering AA owner Kilmo is an appreciator of all things New Orleans. So grub on the gumbo or a po' boy found on the venue's menu. You'll need the energy for the non-stop dance party. Show time is at 9 p.m. Admission costs $10.
