Bloody Mary at Electric Pickle this Friday

Marjorie Migliaccio, a.k.a. Bloody Mary, is Berlin techno's newest femme fatale. The French-born DJ/producer first signed to Sender Records in 2006, and after three years of hard work, staking her place in the European underground dance scene, she is now touring the globe in support of her 2009 release of critically-acclaimed debut album Black Pearl on Berlin's experimental Contexterrior imprint.

Heavily inspired by Charles Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal ("The Flowers of Evil"), Black Pearl uncovers a stark beauty buried beneath dark melodic ambiance and haphazard minimalist breakbeats, groping the darker outskirts of techno while sustaining a relentless groove. Get your dose of Bloody Mary's deliciously dark sound at the Electric Pickle this Friday night, where she'll be spinning along with LINK resident DJs Simon Wish, Maurizio & Danyelino, and Joaquin.

Bloody Mary at the Electric Pickle, Friday, August 21, 2009, 10 p.m.-5 a.m. 2826 N. Miami Ave., Miami.
