Dance for a Cause with Techno Legend Chris Fortier on Friday, August 14

​Altruism and philanthropy are rare things in the hedonistic world of electronic dance music and club culture, where we're all too busy dancing away and self-indulging to care for any real world causes. That is why Musical Missionary's first installment for new "Dance for a Cause" charity fundraiser at the Electric Pickle on Friday, August 14 will offer EDM aficionados a welcome chance to party for something that truly matters! And a relevantly worthy cause it is, considering that proceeds from this party will go towards sponsoring music education for underprivileged children at SoBe Institute of the Arts.

Bringing the best contemporary EDM talent to Miami has always been a labor of love for Musical Missionary, and giving the gift of music back to the community is a cause that perfectly aligns with their mission, while continuing to foster our local underground dance music scene. Past MM parties have showcased stellar performances by the likes of Justin and Christian Martin, Paolo Mojo, Bill Patrick, Catz 'N' Dogz, Maetrik, and Chris Fortier, who is returning next week to show Miami some more love at Dance for a Cause. Critically-acclaimed native Floridian DJ/producer Fortier will be throwing down his singular brand of cutting-edge techno, along with local DJ favorites Stryke and Sebastian on decks. Come down and support this noble cause while enjoying a night of juicy beats and carousing at the Electric Pickle!
