*The guys of Modernage are Miami's Anglophile indie rock workhorses, always around and always reliable. (Also, always liquored up, but that makes them more entertaining!) *Power-poppers Bowling For Soup play a very awkwardly named 7-Eleven/Slurpee-sponsored tour that lands at Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale tonight. It's one of the cheapest shows at the venue in recent years: Admission is just $7.59. Click here for full details.

*There's always some all-ages madness going on at Solid Sound Studios in Pompano Beach. Tonight (similar to many nights) features a lot of local hardcore-type acts: Forty Winters and Bulletproof Your Limousine are among the most popular. Admission is $10. Click here to visit Solid Sound's MySpace for full details.

*The Bubble, a warehouse art/music space in Fort Lauderdale, was an ambitious project -- and now it's running low on funds. Tonight support one of the best things to come along in the 954 in a while.
