MP3 of the Day: "The River took Dee Snider" by Vultures are Wolves, playing Hot Topic and Vulturama at Homebase

Now naturally, despite the very real danger posed by the twisted, joke-loving psychos of V.A.W., you'd like to become better acquainted with their violent metal-punk thrust, right? Well, lucky you, the New Times has made your highly inconvenient trip to Satan's Lair CD Emporium totally unnecessary, offering up a free download of the band's hilariously titled "The River took Dee Snider." It's two minutes and three seconds of hysterically smiling insanity which should be enough (perpetually looped) to satiate your hunger for dead flesh.
Huh? Still not happy? Well, god help you, but maybe it's time to meet the unblinking freaks of V.A.W. face-to-face. Tomorrow, the band will inexplicably materialize for a Hot Topic in-store at the Falls. But that's just a teaser for Saturday's megalithic night of mayhem, Vulturama!, a warehouse party in honor of the aforementioned S/T record. Your only problem? There's no exact address for the party, so you only got one way to get there ... Follow these cryptic directions accompanying this convoluted, hand-drawn map and eventually you'll reach a dark, abandoned industrial space where a party may or may not be taking place ... Uh, yes, this does seem like the set-up for a real-life horror movie. But WTF? Live a little before you die.
