Celebrate Devil's Night with Quantic, Roberto Rodriguez, and Nickodemus at Electric Pickle This Friday
![]() |
Leave it to Miami's subversive nightlife wild child, the Electric Pickle, to shun the sweets and kiddie games on Halloween this year, and invoke the boogie devil himself for a wicked Devil's Night celebration on Friday instead. Finnish breakout producer Roberto Rodriguez, of the Compost Black, Freerange, and Buzzin' Fly labels, will be making his Miami debut in the upstairs room and scorching souls with his upbeat and intoxicating brand of deep vocal tech house.
Meanwhile, the downstairs lounge will be possessed by the sultry sounds of DJ Nickodemus (of Manhattan's über-funky Turntables on the Hudson) and a very rare and special set by nu-jazz and soulful house heavyweight Quantic, a.k.a. Will Holland, of the Quantic Soul Orchestra. Resident DJs Strickly B, Will Renuart and Tomas of Aquabooty will be there to fan the Hell's flames and prizes will be given out for best costume. Don't forget your bag of tricks!
