Martin Landsky Plays Electric Pickle on Friday
![]() |
The late '90s saw the launch of Landsky's own Effortil Records imprint, and a move to Berlin where he founded the legendary "Poker Flat Night" party alongside Steve Bug and Clé at club Sternradio, followed by his first of many releases on Bug's Poker Flat and Dessous labels. During the 2000s he has continued to emerge as one of the most highly-acclaimed artists of the Berlin EDM underground, boasting a stylish and multifarious take on contemporary house and techno and an emotive intensity matched by razor-sharp precision in his live performances. Landsky blew the roof off the Electric Pickle during his last performance for WMC '09 with a set that was both head-swayingly deep and ass-shakingly groovy (take my word for it, I was there) and will no doubt be bringing back some of that dancefloor goodness on Friday night. LINK residents Joaquin and Maurizio & Danyelino will be spinning in support of Martin Landsky.
Martin Landsky at Electric Pickle. Friday, February 19, 10 p.m.-5 a.m. 2826 N. Miami Ave., Miami.
