-- Trina is gearing up for her new album Amazin' to hit stores on May 4th. With appearances by Keri Hilson, Diddy, Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, Lady GaGa, Monica, and others - Trina is set to continue her reign as one of the most successful female rappers in hip-hop. With Amazin', she's taken a varied approach with the sound of the music, as well as in her image. Just yesterday, she started filming her new reality show for VH1, had a private celebrity listening party for her album and released her album cover (pictured on the right) with her sporting an overall new look and image makeover. Yeah, she's still the baddest. [The305]

-- Basic Vocab is made up of Mental Growth, JL Sorrell, and Tony Galvin. Group member Tony Galvin being an established producer that has produced tracks for Trick Daddy, Trina, Cee-Lo, T.I. and others. Well, as a group, they've been hard at work in promoting their sophomore album, A Better Way, which is being released April 13, 2010. Their last couple of singles have made their rounds online and even on the HBO hit series Entourage. And they just released a video for "Sit On Down", which was shot here in Miami. -- Rahsaan is a man of many trades. Sneaker store owner, graphic designer, and artist. With a moderate buzz garnered by his "Sneaker Store Terrorist" record, a lot of anticipation has built for a full length debut album. Well, he's set to do just that and release Georgetown via SoFlo Entertainment on May 4th. [SoFlo Ent]

-- Thousands of people, well tens of thousands, were led on a five-block march spearheaded by Gloria Estefan on Calle Ocho. Pitbull came out to support Gloria in full effect. Telling NBC that "hopefully in everyone coming together, we can make a difference." The event was a march in support of Las Damas de Blanco (Ladies in White), a group of wives and mothers of jailed Cuban relatives, who were attacked and hauled away in buses by Cuban police on March 17. The event was important for the continued rally of bringing freedom to Cuba and its people. [NBC Miami]
