Busted in Licking County, Ohio, Richard Finch, co-founder of KC and the Sunshine Band, is being held on a $250,000 bond after his arrest Tuesday on a charge of "gross sexual imposition."

In other words, the way he likes it is with underage boys. Finch acknowledged inappropriate contact with "several" boys ages 13 to 17 to police, according to the Columbus Dispatch. A boy, whose identity is being withheld, contacted police last week and told officers that the abuse had been going on for several months.

While the police are investigating other cases of abuse related to Finch, the boy who came forward told Sgt. Chris Slayman that they "met through their shared interest in the music industry." Finch's website, however, claims the allegations are false. The statement reads: "We will let due process happen through the legal system and through that, we are sure Mr. Finch will be vindicated from these unfounded allegations."

KC and The Sunshine Band started in 1973 in South Florida (sunshine state, sunshine band) and gained fame with disco hits like "(Shake Shake Shake) Shake Your Booty" and "Get Down Tonight." Their self-titled KC and the Sunshine Band went triple platinum and earned them several Grammys.
