Yelp Hosts a South Beach Dive Bar Dash Tomorrow

This month's choice? A dive bar dash. But this isn't an average pub crawl. Your mission: Hit as many dive bars on South Beach on Saturday without puking. This time they're going green ... and we're not talking eco-friendly, here. Wear green in honor of good ole' St. Patty's Day, and make your way to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3559 (650 West Ave.) at 7 pm. For those of you not too familiar with it, it's hidden inside the Floridian condo building. Score drinks for under $4 a pop (with free parking!), then make your way to Dewey's Tavern (852 Alton Rd.) around 8:15.
Somewhere between all of that drinking (they're thinking around 9:30), they'll drag you for an intermission and some comfort food at the Alibi (218 Espanola Way). Don't think it's a coincidence that it's housed inside the dive Lost Weekend. Next after that: the Deuce (222 14th St.) around 10:45 and Ted's Hideaway (124 2nd St.) around midnight. FYI: Most of the bars are cash-only. Visit the Yelp event page here for more details.
On the slate for April? Brickell.
