| It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday (and Stonefox) |
Thanks to a tip from New Times shutterbug Ian Witlen, we discover an intriguing Facebook entry titled "FALCO" Plays The Poorhouse. The news comes a few months after South Florida's most dangerous live band, Stonefox posted a farewell on MySpace, and played a killer final show at 1921 on January 22.
Being that Crossfade keeps up on the trends in European pop, we can pretty safely assume that Austrian superstar Falco, best known for hits like "The Kommissar" and "Rock Me Amadeus," will not make an appearance. According to Falco's Wikipedia page, he has been dead for more than a decade.
However, the Facebook entry goes on to mention that: " Rumor has it these guys sound a shitload like Stonefox. Weird." Plus, frontman Jordan Asher and drummer Jeff Rose are among the event's confirmed guests. No word on whether or not guitarist Dave Barnard or bassist Ross Fuentes will be in the building on Saturday, but can you afford to not be there?
