Heads Up: Roger Waters Takes Back "The Wall" From Jesse Eisenberg at BankAtlantic Center in November

Categories: Heads Up

One of the best scenes in Noah Baumbach's 2005 Brooklyn brownstone drama The Squid and the Whale features Jesse Eisenberg (Zombieland) playing an acoustic version Pink Floyd's "Hey You" from 1979's The Wall in a talent show and claiming that he wrote it. The movie takes place in the early '80s, so this premise isn't completely far-fetched.

Meanwhile, legit "Hey You" songwriter Roger Waters has performed the The Wall in its entirety a mere 31 times, but that number's about to double. In celebration of the iconic album, Waters is taking the album on the road for North American dates between Sept. 15 and Dec. 13. On Nov. 13, Waters brings The Wall North American Tour to BankAtlantic Center. Presale tickets go on sale May 3 right here.
