Apparently Heathrow Lounge is Open

Heathrow's Banksy-esque decor is alive and well.

​We reported a few weeks ago that Heathrow Lounge had a "Nightclub Available" sign up on the facade of its building and had closed up shop. According to current majority owner Matthew Switkes, that might have been misunderstood. The nightclub is open.

During this Memorial Day Weekend, the South Beach venue is providing some much needed steam. Hip-hop parties with drink specials, an NFL player and an actress start tonight and continue through Saturday.

In coming weeks, Switkes says, the nightclub will be in high gear with parties scheduled Thursday through Saturday nights. Among the offerings: a former White Room dubstep party (which one at this time cannot be confirmed) taking place bimonthly on Friday nights.
