This is a photograph of a Black Keys album, and this is not a test
At this point, it might feel like the Black Keys, the raucous blues-rock duo of Pat Carney and Dan Auerbach, just rolled through Miami. True, but April 18's stop at the Fillmore will feel like ancient history once South Florida is baking hot this summer.

So, on September 17, when the mighty Kings of Leon come to bring a beard-loving crowd to their knees, the Black Keys will be along to muscle through the early going. By then, the Keys will have released a new album, Brothers, on May 18.

Adding to the Southern (OK, the Black Keys are from Ohio, sorry) rock showcase, is Athens, Georgia trio the Whigs. Go listen to the mighty "Kill Me Carolyne" and try to say that this scuzzy, catchy sound doesn't belong as an opener at a Kings of Leon show. You can't.
