You may recall this post last week, where you were prompted to catch Pacha Massive's one of a kind live performance at the opening day of ¡Mira Que Lindas!. That's a music and art exhibition enjoying a three-week stay at Awarehouse. It features a display Latin pop album artwork (519 covers, to be exact), live panels of music gurus discussing the state of the industry, and some fantastic performance offerings.

Last week we told you there would be more info to follow, and lookee here. Last night, the second show went down, with Mexican wunderkind songwriter Aleks Syntek in an acoustic showcase.

Tomorrow night the series continues with Nicaraguan singer-songwriter Perrozompopo, who if nothing else, at least has a really fun name to say. But luckily, that's not all he's got going for him.

Deeply inspired by the unrest of his native country, Perrozompopo digs deep beneath the surface of social and political issues, to examine the overall human condition in his lyrics. But don't expect downtrodden and bummed-out tunes. Drawing on rock's edge, reggae's soothing vibes, and pop appeal, his tracks have a life all their own.

Joining him will be a special guest near and dear to local hearts, one of Miami's own musical masterminds, DJ Le Spam. There's no cover, but a $10 donation is suggested.

Perrozompopo and DJ Le Spam. 8 p.m. Saturday, June 5. The Awarehouse. 550 NW 29th St., Miami. RSVP to 305-576-0036 or marcela.restrepo@grammy.com
