More Benefit News: Critically Massive Show For Michael Lum Tomorrow Night at Harvey's
Two, afterward, ride on up to Harvey's at the American Legion to support a fellow cyclist, Michael Lum. The 20-year-old was hit by a car while cycling south on US-1 in the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 20. Scarily, this put him in critical condition, but he's now said to be home and recovering. Still, like many (most?) other twentysomethings, he has no health insurance.
Thankfully, he's got good buddies in the local cycling and music scenes, who have put together a homegrown benefit show tomorrow night at Harvey's, to start at about the time the Critical Mass ride ends.
Performers include Ana Bertolini, Alex Diaz/Xela Zaid, Deaf Poets, Sirens & Sealions, Animal Tropical, and Jesse Jackson. Admission is $6 and all the money goes to Lum and his family to help pay for his surgeries. Click here for more details on Facebook.
