Low Visibility Celebrates its CD Release at Churchill's this Saturday

Every now and then on the local scene we get some like-minded individuals joining their strengths symbiotically for a greater good. We here at Crossfade think that rock and roll fits seamlessly into that arena of greater goodness, and we're big fans of this particular group of guys individually.

We're now even bigger fans of the new act, Low Visibility, collectively. The band features the talents of local staples Rimsky, Chris Critic, Ron of the Dead, and Furious George. Together they blend their backgrounds in the fringes of rock music into one satisfying package that now you, the consumer, can pick up at their release party this Saturday at Churchill's.

The record features a  blend of indie rock and punk rock and roll, with doses of sweet pop and jangle-rock guitars that walk the line between surf and shoegaze.

You biting yet? Check out a couple of tracks up on their MySpace page if you don't believe me.

Onstage Saturday you can also catch the metal of Hyimm, the heavy pop know-how of Beings, and the rock and roll of Radioboxer and Dooms De Pop. This is the right way of kick-starting your Fourth of July celebrations. This is for the greater good.

Low Visibility. With Hyimm, Beings, Radioboxer, and Dooms De Pop. Saturday, July 3. Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE 2nd Ave., Miami. Admission is $5; age 18 and up. 305-757-1807; churchillspub.com.
