Miami Clubland Gets New Neighbors, But Will They Last?

Categories: Nightlife
Here in Miami it feels like a new club is born and dies every week. Regardless, the party-hopping frenzy continues when a new neighbor takes over the lost one. Here are some new paint jobs and fixer-uppers to get your party panties rattled up.

1439 Washington Ave., South Beach
The 400 Club has been busy tweeting about this new nightclub in the former Snatch space. The grand opening on June 18 featured dancing goddess Ciara and hip-hop hostess Lala Vasquez. Tonight, The Dream will host his official album release party and Keri Hilson will pay visit next Friday. It looks like The 400 Club is trying to go head to head with Headliner Market Group after Club Play swapped promoters.

66 SW 6th St., Brickell
This new cabaret-style club is located right around the corner from Tobacco Road and officially opened June 25. The grand opening and launch of their Friday night party, D'Moda, is set for July 9. This space used to be home to Bricks Nighclub before it hit...well, hit the bricks. Let's hope this awkward location doesn't have the exotic dancers eating dust because Brickell is in need of some sort of nightlife.

Alba Lounge at Sole on the Ocean
17315 Collins Ave., Sunny Isles
Sunny Isles doesn't exactly seem like the ideal place for a lounge, but after Kitchen 305's success, other hotels in the area seem to be taking note. Sole on the Ocean opened the Alba Lounge on June 11 with the same promoters (Text to Party) that made K305 noteworthy. Alba hosts weekly networking events every Thursday and promises to be a safe haven from the Miami Beach ruckus. Head over to their July 4 pool party to check out the new space.
