Fiesta Argentina at Jazid Tomorrow Night Stars Fue Pol and INDIUM
So why bring it up again? Because we'd be remiss if we failed to mention the opportunity to catch some noteworthy live performances at this week's International Thursdays at Jazid.
We certainly wouldn't want it on our heads if you missed them because you just didn't know. Then you might hear about it tomorrow around the water cooler, become depressed you'd missed this great party, start to suck at your job, lose said job, and succumb to a vicious tailspin involving crack use, living on the street and prostitution on the side of Biscayne.
Sure that sounds extreme. But it could happen. And we don't want that. So here is a sliver of cyberspace dedicated to saving you from the clutches of Miami's seedy underbelly.
Fiesta Argentina tomorrow night, Thursday, August 12, will feature two local acts. Fue Pol (we always had a feeling it was that bastard) is a cover band paying homage to its native land's rock by doing tunes by groups like Soda Stereo, Los Enanitos Verdes and Pericos.
Meanwhile, INDIUM, out of West Palm, has been doing the do for the last few years, trying to get its own bilingual rock sound out. The band released its debut, Blue Under the Spectrascope, in 2005, and has continued to plug away. Check out the vid for "Sweeter Side" below.
