Souleye, Alanis Morissette Expecting Their First Conscious-New Age Spawn

​We reported here this past June that Alanis Morisette had semi-secretly married Mario Treadway, who was previously known around South Florida as a vaguely neo-hippie, conscious rapper known as Souleye. The one-time-Whole Foods employee was a favorite on the local circuit in the early '00s, when he lived in Boca and was part of a loosely knit East Coast crew known as the Transcendental Alliance. 

Some years later, he of course hooked up with the "Jagged Little Pill" chanteuse, and they've now confirmed the rumors: Yes, Souleye and Alanis Morisette are expecting an organic bun in the oven. Alanis announced it unexpectedly in an otherwise puff piece in US Weekly titled "25 Things You Didn't Know About Me." Item number 25: "I'm Pregnant."
