Video: Miami Horror Releases Music Video for "I Look to You;" Playing LIV September 15

| Oh, the horror! Miami Horror isn't really from Miami, but they'd like for you to think so. |
Granted, Miami Horror is not from Miami -- nowhere near it, actually, as the disco-infused electropop foursome hails from Melbourne, Australia -- but we can't help but smirk at the 305-love they're giving us with such a band name.
Here's hoping the "horror" they found here has more to do with the band visiting here on "holiday" mid-hurricane season or something. Or maybe they were just really into Miami Vice in the 80's, as their band's signature font would suggest, and were "horrified" when they realized pastel suits are so not in anymore. We're just guessing, here.
The video is at once psychedelic and spiritual, but what really stands out for us is the the infusion of French house and disco bass with underlying funk guitars and smooth vocals by Melbourne's very own Kimbra. We just can't tell if we want to head bob, tap our feet, sway gently by a poolside lounge, or just flat out dance.
They'll be playing live at LIV on Wednesday, September 15. Here's hoping they bring a lot of "Miami flavor" along with them.
