Have you ever wanted to be a part of something really big? Well Miami will be one of the hundreds of cities taking part in EarthDance 2010, hailed as "the world's largest synchronized music and dance festival for peace."

In 2004, it broke the Guinness World Record for largest synchronized drum circle. The dance fest is not only intended to entertain and inspire those who attend it, they are also trying to spread their peaceful intentions to the entire global community. The two days of peace, dance, and music kick off next Saturday, September 18 and Sunday the 19 at The Sacred Space Miami, where you can embark on the consciousness and shake it 'til your heart's content.

Of course, there will be some staples of a synchronized music and dance festival for peace -- live music, DJs, drumming and arts and crafts. Featured bands on the slate include Agape featuring Nadia Harris, Galaxy Girl, the Baboons, Teri Caitlin, Gypsy Cat and Pyrofusion.

The festival promises to be a mix of blurred sound spectrums, techno music, global-funk, jazz and fire. Definitely something for everyone.

Be sure to check out the Prayerdanse Rave on Saturday, with poorly named DJs Dub, Downtempo, and Dubstep spinning as the Conscious Carry On carries on 'til the break of dawn.

EarthDance 2010 Miami on Saturday, September 18 from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. and Sunday, September 19 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at The Sacred Space Miami, 100 NE 25th Street, Miami, tickets are $29 each day, or $49 for a weekend pass, available at earthdancemiami.com.
