Usher Ends Another Sexy Year at the American Airlines Arena

For the 19,600 lovely females (and their reluctant boyfriends, husbands, brothers, fathers, etc.) who turned Usher's New Year's Eve concert at the American Airlines Arena into a swooning, screaming, sweating mass of fandom, the coming of 2011 was all about one especially urgent question: "Which lucky girl is gonna trade saliva samples with Usher Raymond IV at midnight?"

Well, Crossfade can report that there were no makeout sessions during the show. (He also didn't get kicked in the head again.) But who knows what happened backstage. Or in Mr. Raymond's tour bus. Or at the afterparty.

So if you're the lucky lady who got with Big Ush last night, cherish that memory. Otherwise, check out the photos below of the tattooed, hard-bodied, leather-clad pop star doing work.

To start the show, he wore this black, leather space commando costume. It looked cool but kinda uncomfortable.
