Get Your Fusion Done Right With Bachaco at Jazid February 26
For an example of fusion done right, one need look no further than Miami's very own Bachaco, proof positive of a local scene that's been mixing and matching musical goods for quite some time now.
With backgrounds as diverse as the myriad styles used to create their one-of-a-kind grooves, the members of this eight-piece ensemble kick out reggae, dancehall, cumbia, hip-hop, and more in an all-out onstage assault that always leaves the crowd trying to keep up.
"It's just the chemistry between all of us on stage," says vocalist Eddy Morillo. "We truly connect with each other. We enjoy it and at the same time, we [provide] feedback to the audience's response. We vibe along with our audience."
Bachaco. Saturday, February 26. Jazid, 1342 Washington Ave., Miami Beach. The show starts at 11 p.m. and admission is free. Call 305-673-9372 or visit jazid.net.
