"What? Is there something on my face?"
Every now and then, a really cool local band comes along and you say, "Holy crap! This band is pretty fuckin' cool."

Less often, they get to count themselves among those lucky few who make it beyond their city's area code, transcending region and working beyond the challenges of being an independent band with little or no budget, forced to do things on their own.

And damn near never can they claim they're taking over the world. But as the video after the jump clearly demonstrates, Radioboxer is doing just that.

This Hialeah six-piece pretty much eploded onto our local scene in 2009 following the release of their debut record Radio Drama, embarking on a endless circuit of shows. And in the process, they earned the vote from you, New Times readers, for Best Band, Reader's Choice. And now the alt-rock outfit is back at it with a glossy and impressive follow-up, titled Magic City Ruse, set for release April 1.

Meanwhile, here's a nifty little promo video they just released depicting fans around the world showing Radioboxer love, from Caracas to Moscow as well as the Magic City to the City of Progress.

Oh, and if you like that foxy little mask and want to show Radioboxer a little love of your own here's a link to print it. "Feel free to print your own and share the pictures/videos of the places you feel represent what you love about your home," says bassist Jota Dazza.
