Talib Kweli and 9th Wonder Stage Red Bull Music Academy Blitz for WMC 2011

​Yo, homie. We here at Crossfade have dug up another pair of rap-related throwdowns for your already thick-ass Winter Music Conference party plan.

This Thursday and Friday, critic's fave Talib Kweli and superproducer-slash-MC 9th Wonder will be teaming up to lay down a double dose of heavy hip-hop knowledge -- one lecture and one live rap sesh -- as part of the Red Bull Music Academy series.

Just book 'em both between DJ Snoopadelic at LIV and Questlove at the Florida Room.

On Thursday, Kweli and Wonder will be hitting up the Raleigh Hotel for a brainy talk about personal histories and the state of the game. It's being billed by Red Bull's hypemasters as "an intimate conversation with two of hip-hop's most critically acclaimed artists ... as they discuss their music, their influences, and the ever-changing music industry."

And then on Friday, it's time for fixed verses and freestyles at the Delano's Florida Room. Expect Kweli's set to be heavy on the Gutter Rainbows, his fourth and latest solo slab, while 9th Wonder holds down the decks and calls out the ad libs.
