Cali Swag District's M-Bone Dead in Drive-By Shooting

​RIP Montae Talbert (AKA M-Bone), aged 22, and respect to his family. We are sorry for the tragic loss of the talented artist.

No matter how smooth he was, M-Bone couldn't Dougie his way out of two head shots in an Inglewood, California drive by that left him dead inside a vehicle out front of a liquor store.

The 22-year-old Cali Swag District member made famous by his group's chart-topping song "Teach Me How To Dougie" was killed at approximately 10:30 p.m. last night.

M-Bone's real name is Mante Montae Talbert. Police have not released a motive for the shooting, though it does not appear to have been a robbery.

"Teach Me How To Dougie," the Doug E. Fresh-referencing song and dance had become a pop culture sensation since it came out last year.
