Back in the day, circa 1996, the hip-hop world was all about the gangsta rap and busting caps, not the boom-bap and phat flips.

Nevertheless, a couple of local b-boys named Richard "Speedy Legs" Fernandez and Steven "Zulu Gremlin" Roybal decided it was time to bring breakdancing back. So they tagteamed to lauch the Miami Pro-Am, a weekend-long blitz of breaking competitions, MC battles, history panels, grafitti shows, and hip-hop parties.

Unbelievably, the 15th annual edition kicks off tomorrow. See the cut for the full Miami Pro-Am 2011 schedule.
