DJ Heidi, Bill Patrick, and Trendy Art You Can't Afford at Treehouse

​In blonde, braided pigtails and cherry-bomb lipstick, Heidi doesn't look like a beast. But she sure as hell sounds like one.

She's that girl who scares all the boys 'cause she's just that cool. I swear I saw DJ Bill Patrick flinch when she took over the tables.

And last night, Heidi scrubbed through womping basslines and deep-house vibes for the first Sunday Sessions party at Treehouse, hosted by LINK.

Treehouse, a new spot on Miami Beach, offered room to breath -- and what's even more important, room to dance. It was a nice break from the sweatbox upstairs of Electric Pickle where underground DJs of the same caliber meet with the house-heads and bass junkies of Miami.

Just watching her bump to her own grooves would have been enough to keep the party animated. But Heidi whipped out tracks that even got a random couple from Kansas pulling out moves from America's Best Dance Crew - the pookie-head version.

David Link, the host of show, is proud to bring a new night to the Miami Beach slew of shindigs and soirees, crossing the bridge for the first time in more than two years, he said. It's the party that will "regain his identity." Working in conjunction with the LMNT Gallery of Wynwood, Sunday Sessions will feature a new artist every week, and deck out the club with his or her artwork. Last night, the crowd was graced with the sculptures and paintings of Tatiana Blanco, pieces starting at $12,000.

So whether you're into some sexy grooves or some art you certainly won't be able to afford, Sunday Sessions is the new go-to weekend's end party. It's pure I-don't-wanna-think-about-work-tomorrow entertainment.
