Take Off Your Boots With StubHub Tomorrow and Win Tickets to U2's Miami Show

​When Bono busted up his back last year, U2's 360° Tour was forced to a dead stop. The Irish crooner-slash-crusader needed emergency surgery and time to mend. So the band canceled a bunch of dates, including the Miami gig.

Eventually, all shows were rescheduled. But as StubHub headquarters told Crossfade via email: "After U2 postponed their tour, many fans who purchased tickets through StubHub could not commit to the rescheduled shows. With StubHub's FanProtect Guarantee policy, these fans were able to return their tickets and receive their money back. Because it is StubHub's policy not to resell tickets, these returned tickets are now being used to encourage charitable giving through the Take Off Your Boots campaign."

In other words, StubHub's giving away free tickets to U2's Sun Life Stadium gig in exchange for your "new and gently worn shoes."

To trade your kicks for tix, just head out to CocoWalk shopping center tomorrow Tuesday, June 28, between noon and 4 p.m. where StubHub's peeps will be collecting footwear donations to benefit Nashville-based charity Soles4Souls.

A heads up from StubHub, though: "There is a limit of one pair of U2 tickets per person donating a pair of new or gently used shoes, while ticket supplies last."

So show up early. Or risk going barefoot for nothing more than a good cause.
