Jacuzzi Boys Will Play Last Live Show at Bar This Sunday CANCELED

On Wednesday night, Bar tweeted: "As of this afternoon, BAR on 14th Street has permanently shut down." So the Jacuzzi Boys goodbye party has been canceled.

​Everyone's slowly coming to terms with the fact that the space at 28 NE 14th Street, currently known as Bar, will soon be closing for-fucking-ever. It's a rough reality in a world of superexpensive drinks, corny clubbers, and shitty door prices.

We've been promised a new Bar at a new location. But there will be no more intimate garage shows in that particular 14th Street hole. And forget those late-night, laid-back bitch sessions on the picnic benches outside -- not to mention another non-ironic dance party.

The venue officially closes its doors on the Fourth of July. But Miami's own Jacuzzi Boys will be heralding the end of an era by banging out a bye-bye concert on Sunday night. They played the first show when Bar opened a year and a half ago. And now, the Boys will perform the last live one.

If you've seen the Jacuzzis live at Bar before, you know that the space is small. But it's definitely big enough to hold a ton of wild, body-slamming, sweaty, smiling people who love these guys.

And even though there'll certainly be a tear in your beer, the rock 'n' roll and steamy love will certainly help you chug that sad drink and many more. The farewell party will be going all night, and starting bright and early at 8 p.m., so make sure to eat your dinner before you indulge.
