Estelle and 99 Jamz Do It Up at Santo Live
Hosted by 99 Jamz and Grey Goose, the vodka was flowing and the place was packed. Everyone was dressed to the nines since the flyer specified summer chic attire and no athletic gear. It was fancy in Gulfstream Park!
The British songstress belted out a short set in the dimly lit, intimate club. The show started a little late. But we were out of there by 11.
Estelle's performance was wonderful and engaging. She joked with the crowd and danced around the stage a little self-consciously, but still with confidence. She mixed it up, singing Mary J. Blige's "Real Love" and a clip from Soul II Soul's "Back to Life" while mixing it in with her own song "Freak."
Rick Ross didn't make an unexpected appearance. But that's OK. Everyone enjoyed Estelle so much, she came out for an encore. Check out Crossfade's pics and vids from last night.
Everyone loosened up after a few of these guys.
Watching Estelle in her video before seeing her IRL was rad.
The crowd was filled with females.
It was a particularly special girls night out at Santo Live.
Estelle, striking a pose.
She looked super elegant. It's not easy to pull off a white body con dress under the bright lights.
She kept shading her eyes to better see the crowd. We were all so flattered to be noticed!
A proper little grind.
Her backup singers really helped make the show something special. Their smiles, their voices, and their synchronized moves kept the crowd pleased.
