Odd Future Announces Halloween Show at the Fillmore Miami Beach

Last night, Tyler the Creator tweeted the meaty schedule for hip-hop collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All's upcoming Golf Wang Tour 2011.

Not only will the raunchy sultans of swag be performing here in the 305 on Halloween night, but the show is another in a steady stream of solid Fillmore bookings helping to keep Miami plugged into the rest of the world.

No word yet on which members of OFWGKTA will be involved with the tour. But it's safe to bet Tyler will be there, alongside right-hand man Hodgy Beats and producer Syd Tha Kid. Noticeably lacking will be the still-in-boarding-school Earl Sweatshirt.

love the fillmore - amazing year so far!!!

matt you must be drinking the LiveNation Kool-Aid a bit too much:

"steady stream of solid Fillmore bookings helping to keep Miami plugged into the rest of the world"

Really?? Are you fricking kidding me?  This year's booking have sucked.  Bardot and Grand Central combined have kicked the proverbial crap out of LN and Fillmore's bookings.  Compare 2010 where LN brought the house and did an amazing job bringing an awesome mixture of techno, rap, indie, dance rock, folk, and everything else in between.

This year's bookings have slated towards techno and rap with little else thrown in.... Whoever was their booking agent this year did a horrible job booking great bands.  They should be working hand-in hand with Foundation/Social (up in Orlando) to slate tours further south to us, but nope, we are stuck with one of our worst years at the Fillmore.

2010 (YES ALL IN ONE YEAR)Air, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Wilco, Chelsea Handler, Arctic Monkeys, Of Montreal, Pat Metheny, David Gray, Raekwon, Stephen Stills, The Black Keys, Porcupine Tree, 30 Seconds to Mars, Mute Math, Neon Trees, Band of Horses, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Swell Season, Imogen Heap, Citizen Cope, 50 Cent, Tokyo Police Club, Passion Pit, Hole, Jamie Cullum, Seu Jorge, Crowded House, Interpol, Deftones, Bassnectar, Widespread Panic, Yeasayer, LCD Soundsystem, Sleigh Bells, Vampire Weekend, Beach House, Serj Tankian, Wavves, Phoenix, MGMT, Daniel Tosh, Robyn, Lucero, Social Distortion, Wolf Parade, Iron and Wine, Willy Chirino, Louis C.K., and Margaret Cho

2011 (and upcoming)Jorge Drexler, Bright Eyes, Cursive, Interpol, School of Seven Bells, Bruno Mars, Janelle Monae, Girl Talk 2x, Primus, Christian Castro, Raekwon, Mobb Deep, Ghostface,  Chromeo, Mayer Hawthorne, Bryan Ferry, Skrillex, Bassnectar, Andres Calamero, Zed's Dead, Matisyahu, Volbeat, MartyParty & Calverton, Brian McKnight, Atmosphere, Rey RUiz, Chris Tucker, The Script, David Sedaris, Mac Miller, Odd Future, along with a bunch of techno from the Honeymoon Series....
