Buck 15 Is Back! Get Free Svedka at Saturday's Grand Opening of New Lincoln Lane Location

The street address is 437 Lincoln Lane. And it's "just two blocks from where we used to be," says owner Carlos Yip, "right behind the New World Center's park."
But why go through the hassle of relocation, only to move down the street? "After the landlords went a little crazy on the rent," Yip explains, "the opportunity came along to move both Miss Yip and Buck 15 two blocks down. So we did that."
"The size and style of the new location is the same as the old one," he assures us. "Same vibe. No cover. There will never be a cover charge."
"We basically brought the Buck concept back," Yip says. "You know, it's laidback. We have art rotating every month. And there is a graffiti wall that will change every four months."
The second-floor party loft will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 p.m. till "whenever people stop drinking." So, "The only night we don't have right now is our Takeout Tuesdays party."
Otherwise, regulars can expect Buck 15's classic party lineup. "We still have our three big nights. There's Thursday, which is the Simple Life, our gay night. Then Friday, we have DJ Diaga, who's been spinning with us for, like, four years. And our '80s night with Jenni Foxx is Saturday. It's driven to the locals."
Now when the new Buck 15 officially opens for business this Saturday, you're really gonna want to be there 'cause Yip's given Crossfade this exclusive inside tip: "We're going to have free liquor for regulars from 9 to 11 p.m., thanks to our sponsor Svedka. We had to keep it on the down-low. So you'll actually be the first ones to put the word out there."
