Maceo Plex's Top Five Miami Rave Classics
![]() |
And if you attended the now-legendary 2011 edition of Crosstown Rebels' Get Lost party during Miami Music Week, you probably still get goose bumps remembering his mind-blowing live performance out on the Electric Pickle's patio.
But perhaps what you don't know is that this explosive tech-house sensation -- now based in Europe -- got his start in our neck of the woods, as a DJ in the seminal early-'90s South Florida rave scene.
So, with Estornel returning to Miami for an exclusive performance at the Electric Pickle this Saturday, Crossfade got him to hook us up with his top five jams from that era. These should bring back lots of memories if you were raving back in the day, as well as shed some light on Maceo Plex's early influences.
5. Lectroluv's "Dream Drums" (All Over Sound Factory Mix)
4. Funky Green Dogs From Outer Space's "High Up"
3. Saige's "Show Me The Way"
2. Da Juice's "Hear The Angels" (Make Me Cum Mix)
1. Metro's "Here For The Love" (Trans To Funk Mix)
