Madonna Confirms New, Overhyped Album on Swedish Television

​Our list of celebrity MILFs over 50 is short. In fact, it only consist of one incredibly sexy, adorably gap-toothed pentagenarian. And like a virgin touched for the very first time, we'd probably last less than 30 seconds with her. Ironically, that's also how long we can stomach her music.

Madonna Louise Ciccone, the 53-year-old OG Gaga has confirmed she's got a new album in the works. And come Spring 2012, Madge fanboys are going to flip their shit when she drops her first studio album since 2008.

NBC New York reports that Madonna told Swedish Sveriges Television that she's already started working in the studio, and plans to continue doing so through the end of the year in New York. The still-untitled record will be Madonna's 12th, and a follow-up to 2008's Hard Candy.

If y'all remember, Pitchfork panned that shit, giving it a 5.3 out of 10. Nevertheless, it went on to sell over three million copies worldwide, and skyrocketed to number one on the Billboard 200.



The corresponding Sticky & Sweet Tour grossed over $400 million during its 85-show run, and became the fourth-highest grossing tour of all time. She also managed to piss off the Pope, upset John McCain, and ban Sarah Palin from her shows.

Aside from over-produced pop music and Cirque du Soleil-style acrobatics, even a snarky music blog like Crossfade can respect a rebel rouser like Madonna.

Hopefully, the pop icon's next album will merit better reviews than that W.E film did.
