Love, love me tooth. John Lennon's tooth.
The English are notorious for rock music and poor oral hygiene.

Now, for about $16,000 (£10,000), you can buy the best of both. Diehard Beatles fans with entirely too much disposable income will have the chance to bid on one of John Lennon's nasty teeth.

Story goes that Lennon was hanging out in the kitchen of his Kenwood mansion in Surrey when he presented the tooth to his housekeeper Dot Jarlett. Of course, Lennon, an English gentleman, wrapped it in a piece of paper before handing it over.

According to Jarlett's son Barry, Lennon originally asked his mum to throw the tooth away, though quickly suggested it'd be alright if the housekeeper kept it. "As your daughter's a Beatles fan, you can give to her as a souvenir."

That was in the late 1960s. And for over 50 years, Jarlett's daughter has kept Lennon's yellow and black tooth tucked away in safe keeping. "It is something that we felt was very personal," Barry Jarlett says. For reasons unknown, however, the family's decided someone else should have the tooth.

While a tooth is an incredibly bizarre piece of rock and roll memorabilia, it's not the weirdest. Check out four others that make us scratch our head and wanna puke.

4. JT's French Toast
Justin Timberlake's leftovers sold for $1,025 on eBay in 2000. Some 'N Sync superfan bought two slices of french toast auctioned off by Z-100 DJs, freeze dried 'em, and displayed them on her dresser. We hear no one asked that chick to prom.

3. The King's Hair
A lock of Elvis Presley's hair raked in $115,000 at a Chicago auction in 2002. We hear it smelled like pain pills and obesity.

2. Lesbian-like Locks
When Justin Bieber cut his luscious locks, some douche paid upwards of $40,000. Lucky the money went to an animal charity and a few soon-to-be-euthanized puppies got to live an extra day.

1. Spit or Swallow?
Britney Spears loves gum. Surely she's swallowed tons of the sticky stuff, perhaps even gotten it on her hair or all over face, but on one particular occasion, she spat it out. Some lucky Londoner cleaned it up, and tossed it on eBay. Spears' gum eventually sold for $14,000.
