Miami Dolphins Continue to Suck, Ask Jan From The Office to Sing National Anthem

​The Miami Dolphins may not have any victories this season, but they certainly have a sense of humor. They're letting Jan from The Office sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at this Sunday's loss game against the Denver Broncos.

Melora Hardin, who plays Jan on the hit NBC sitcom, has been on a non-stop National Anthem rounds ever since she sang Francis Scott Key's famous ditty at last year's Anaheim Ducks' season opener. Evidently, the people in charge of booking "talent" missed her rendition of "Preacher's Son" on The Office.



Alright, she's not that bad. And as it turns out, Hardin's been a musician her whole life, but if you're a sucker for mature easy-listening pop music, you already knew that.

"Melora Hardin is one of the most truly talented people in entertainment," writes Amazon user and Hardin superfan K. Pritchett. "She is an extraordinary actress [and] an extremely talented singer who has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard."

Sold! If 17 tracks of adult contemporary tuneage can give us the body of a Greek god, we're totally raiding our dentist's six-disc CD changer next time we're in for a cleaning.

What's that, there's talk of a re-release later this year? We'll take 30, please. One for every pound we plan on shedding with Melora Hardin's sweet voice riding our iPod like a drill sergeant.
