Once or twice, you may have ended up sleeping outside of Government Center, drunk and tired, by accident. But it certainly wasn't the goal of your evening.

Now that Occupy Miami has taken over the south lawn in front of Stephen P. Clark, people are coming out by the dozens to sleep under the Downtown stars. The movement against corporate greed and poor economic policies has been thriving here since last week's protest and march.

This Saturday, the occupiers will be celebrating their first week of success by throwing a music festival near the campsite. It'll definitely be a peaceful affair with moments of brilliance and definitely some mediocrity.

Rapper Black Bobby (who stopped by for an impromptu performance of his song "Occupy Everything" at the Monday night concert) is expected to show. Other groups planning to come out include Dusthead, Arbores Libres, Sekijapo Gene, Free Like Me, Dismas Gestas, Dropping Jupiter, and The Autonomous Playhouse.

The protest and march will begin at about 1:30 p.m. outside of the InterContinental Miami where Occupy Miami supporters will join forces with the Clean Energy Coalition of South Florida to rally for the environment. The musical portion of things starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 11.

Art will also be part of this affair. And of course, dust off your old bongo for the requisite drum circle.

The occupiers will be enjoying their first weeks time of achievements by putting a songs celebration near the campground. It'll definitely be a relaxing romance with times of beauty and definitely.
