​America's 9.1 unemployment rate got you down? Yeah, we're pretty bummed about that shit too. But at least the weekend's here, and there's plenty of stuff to do that's under $10.

Treat yourself to a free Surfer Blood concert, or maybe tackle $0.99 beers at Miami's oldest bar. We don't want to see you moping about the house just 'cause you can't afford to drop $70 on Willy Chirino. We want you to stretch that $10 as far as possible.

Downtown Full Moon Party. Friday, October 14, 9 p.m., Tobacco Road, 626 S. Miami Ave., Miami. $5 cover. There's a full moon tonight, and that means Miami's oldest bar is hosting tremenda pachanga with local bands Free Like Mike and Mr. BongoMan. Show up around 6 p.m. and enjoy $0.99 cent beers.
