Au Revoir Simone Announce Miami Show at Mamushka's Grand Central December 10

Even as Crossfade continues to closely monitor Art Basel Miami Beach music and party news, we're already looking beyond the early-December art extravaganza, working our sources and scouring the interweb for the scoop on end-of-the-year show announcements.

And here's the latest tidbit: On December 10, Brooklyn indie-pop trio Au Revoir Simone will be hitting new-ish Wynwood hangout Mamushka's Grand Central for a special post-Basel live performance.

The Williamsburg-based threesome -- consisting of vocalists and keyboardists Heather D'Angelo, Erika Forster, and Annie Hart -- isn't currently on tour and hasn't released a full-length album since 2009's Still Night, Still Light.

But luckily, the show's organizer -- Sirens and Sealions singer-songwriter and Mute Miami booking boss Johanna Viscaino -- has convinced D'Angelo, Forster, and Hart to make a special trip to Miami.



In addition to the lovely ladies of Au Revoir Simone, there will also be a full set from one-woman electro-pop project The Blow (AKA Mikhaela Maricich) as well as indie superstar DJ sets by Of Montreal's Kevin Barnes and Run Sevim Run.

It's gonna be a magical midwinter night's dream of tinkling keys, drum machines, and pretty melodies.
