Immortal Technique Performing Last-Minute Show at Occupy Miami Today

​Last night, the official Facebook for Occupy Miami -- the Dade County wing of the international, autonomous financial reform protest movement, Occupy Wall Street -- shouted out superlefty MC Immortal Technique (AKA Felipes Andres Coronel) for giving them props while performing at Grand Central.

The rapper has been an outspoken supporter of OWS. And like many of the bright-eyed idealists setting up tent cities across the world, outraged by bank bailouts, corporate personhood, corporate welfare, tax loopholes for the superwealthy, insufficiently funded public resources, and myriad other causes, Coronel is stepping up to protest alongside the Occupiers.

The lyrical activist will be performing today at 2 p.m. in solidarity with the movement at Stephen P. Clark Government Center, ground zero for Miami's occupation.

Since the initial post, #OccupyMIA has clarified that this is not just an appearance: Immortal Technique will be performing live at the occupation of Government Center.
