Overthrow's Hard 2 Leave Invades Goldrush, Bringing Basel Back to the Strip Club

​Every Art Basel, someone's throwing a party at a strip club.

A few years ago at Goldrush Miami, a bunch of scenesters put on a fete that featured free tequila shots and Miller High Life. If memory serves, the door was guarded by a password. That was a hot time. A superstupid end-of-Basel night. Then last year, Ryan McGinness brought "Women: The Blacklight Paintings" to Club Madonna, which was neat to look at, very trippy and all. But there wasn't really any alcohol. And, uh, who goes to a strip club to soberly observe art? Really, now.

This year, The Overthrow is not only throwing Basel Castle again. They're also bringing it all back to the strip club with Hard 2 Leave at Goldrush.

Get it, hard? Starting two years ago, this party has closed out Winter Music Conference and Ultra Music Festival. And now, The Overthrow crew's turned its naked party eye on Basel.

There's a long list of DJs -- including DJ Craze, Ninjasonik, Tamara Sky, Troy Kurtz, and Caligula -- set to provide the soundtrack for naked dancing ladies. And even though you might not be hearing the usual "Girls, Girls, Girls" (at least not in the form that Motley Crue first designed it), there will plenty of girls. And hopefully, some sort of drink special.

Believe us ... After a full week of art-watching, you're gonna want to feast your eyes on a bunch beautiful babes made by God as opposed to what mere men have made with their hands.
