Are you excited for Ultra 2012 TV-panda raver?
Ultra Music Fesitval quickly announced (and sold out) early bird tickets. But so far, the fest has given no indication of what else is in store. No acts. No venue. Nothing.

However, a reliable source told Crossfade today that a venue announcement is coming very soon. In fact, the festival is "taking over downtown Miami on the waterfront in a whole new way, like no event has done before."

This sort of confirms what we already knew: Ultra will be returning to downtown, and it will be on the waterfront. But will it be at Bicentennial Park or Bayfront Park? Or perhaps an alternative? We're going to have to wait a few more days to find out.

Tickets are now on sale at ultramusicfestival.com for $299.95 plus fees for general admission and $599.95 plus fees for VIP (ages 21 and over only).

ultra is overrated and commercial , real adults work friday and monday so single day tickets SHOULD be sold , they can keep the kittes and their commercial LMFO followers ultra has gone way down since 2010 which was their real breakthrough. now its just shit with commercial music and trendy ppl

if you ride a bicycle, there never is bad traffic.  sxsw is the best fest and it is pretty much free.

I hear they are building stages in the water, having everyone throw on bathing suits and party in Biscayne Bay.  It's the only realistic option in downtown Miami.

Well it won't be at Bicentennial cuz it's now a museum and Bayfront will be too small for all the attendees that's why they moved from Bayfront years ago cuz it got too big to handle... So where else does that leave big enough for 100,000 people???

Its hilarious reading at some of the comments on here. Many different people go to Ultra every year.E-tards call it THE "Rave of the year" (50% pop.), Adults call it THE "Party of the year"(50% pop.) and Broke ass loser kids call it "too expensive" (0%) .... Which one are you??

I can understand the residential city dwellers frustration but seriously "Anon" you call this "the worst weekend in downtown"?? You are obviously not from Miami or your just bitching(debbie downer) cause you seem to forget about the Memorial day weekend crowd... Definitely eclipses what Ultra weekend brings to Miami.

Stages on the water at Bayfront Park.  The fountain will be probably be a stage too.

I'd rather pop some E and sit on a porcupine than pay 300 dollars for some over crowded & over priced shitty rave.

They better do something exceptional to make up for the ridiculous ticket prices!!

I bet they are going to use that little park east of the AAA by the water for some extra space

why are you ever here?
why are you ever here?

well if everyone who goes dident have a real good paying job then they wouldent be there. more than half of ultra are vary wealthy people and most of are from other countries who care about music and the fun they have at ultra. and i understand some mainstream people  are playing at ultra but thats mainly main stage. THERES OTHER FUCKING STAGES WITH WAY BETTER MUSIC. if you can find a stage with someone good playing  or cant find people to meet and have fun with then your not even a true EDM fan and in that case why the fuck are u on this blog you fuckin slut-bag cunt whore.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       lick my balls.

It will be at Bicentennial there still a lot of the park left my guess they are going to build a bridge to the AAA cause there's an open space east of it to make up for loss space from the museum or close down streets

memorial day weekend is not as bad downtown as it is on the beach. i have been living in the downtown are for nearly a decade and have had a much harder time during the ultra fest than memorial day weekend. i take no issue with the adults who dig the fest, not a fan of edm, that's neither here nor there, but those damn zombified e-tards roaming the streets after the event and the cabs that refuse to service residents in favor of these idiots so they can steal their cash, man, fml.

AW a kiddie E head has his butt hurt... too lazy and broke to afford Ultra? But not broke enough to stop popping those E's and smoking that weed i bet. Leave it to the working adults to rate this festival...

Whats hard to "justify" fat head? $382 is $128 per day (3 day festival) for a World class music festival that delivers the top ranked 100 electronic artists in the World??  You can go from listening to Armin to Carl cox to Afrojack to Wolfgang gartner to Deadmau5 to Skrillex to Kaskade to Tiesto to SVD in less than 72hours and thats not even naming a few...  Sander van Doorn hosted a 6hour party at Club LIV in Miami for $220 on october and OH YEAH people went! everyone who bitches about the price is obviously lazy and jobless. Not to mention that you could of scored cheaper priced tickets during the Early bird and advance sale.. too late for the procrastinators, So cry me a fucking river.. bitch.

Good, we don't need your negative bitterness at this festival. Stay away and die with your pills.

$382 after fees and delivery. That could buy a lot of E and porcupines probably. I really like Ultra, but $382 is hard to justify.

Yeah your right the memorial weekend crowd does attack the beach way worst than downtown but Ultra its only one weekend that creates a christmas in march for cabbies, hotels, restaurants and other night life establishments so they have to take advantage of the moment lol. But damn you dont have a car in Miami!? thats almost unheard of! im guessing you must only stay around the downtown area.

damn, where's this anger coming from? is it YOUR festival? lol

Ultragods

Its not anger, i would call it the hard truth. No, its not my festival its our festival but there are many individuals who have dedicated over a decade of their lives to create this amazing festival for what it is today. Excuse me for slapping a bitch or two in order to shed some truth into the shit they spew, its only words dont get your butt hurt too lol.
