Ultra Music Festival 2012 Taking Over Bayfront Park

​UPDATE Ultra Music Festival has finally announced its Phase 1 lineup. Check out Ultra 2012's 92-act roster, headlined by Avicii, Tiësto, and David Guetta.

Our sources have confirmed that next year's three-day Ultra Music Festival will be taking place at Bayfront Park, the home of the festival before it moved to Bicentennial Park in 2006.

"Expanded footprint, increased capacity, prime waterfront location with lots of grass, trees and lush landscaping," says the source. "Additional exciting details about the new venue layout will be released in the coming months."

The Bayfront location may be a bit trickier now considering the size of current-day Ultra. Unlike Bicentennial, Bayfront has more obstacles to contend with like the amphitheater and enormous fountain. However, with Museum Park's construction well underway, the news of the move back isn't exactly surprising.

Here's hoping our earlier report that the 2012 edition would be nothing like we've experienced before delivers.

Anyway, Ultra 2012 takes place March 23 to 25. Tickets are still available at ultramusicfestival.com for $299.95 plus fees for general admission and $599.95 plus fees for VIP (21 and over only).
