Ultra Music Festival's Russell Faibisch: Ultra 2012 "Will Be Bigger Than Last Year"

• Ultra is not worth it anymore..used to love it.....now i dont wanna get any closer to it....those prices are outrageously expensive..never bringing them down just a little bit...to only see your DJ for a couple of minutes...full of annoying raver kids that have no idea about EDM and are just there to see crappy and overrated DJs like Guetta Tiesto and the list goes on.....there are way better parties around Miami those days than ultra...and WWAAYY cheaper...go to south beach and you will see...F@#$%^ ultra 

• Tickets did not go up by almost 150 percent, they were still expensive last year.  There are a tremendous amount of acts to pay for which includes putting them up in hotels and transportation.  There is also a ton of money that goes into setting up the event.  From construction to security to desk employees at Ultra.  Not to mention the fact that they have to pay an absurd amount for insurance.  It's a 3 day concert tickets are going to cost what they cost.  Instead of bitching about ticket prices we should be bitching about the fact that we no longer get THREE seperate tickets and instead are forced to go all three days with one weekend pass.

• Dude, im not complaining about the pricing. though you will have to admit that having them go up by almost 150% when it isnt even that close to the festival is a bit much. I already have my ticket so I'm still psyched to go.

• Ticket prices are going to go up in every major edm festival. If you're fans quit bitching and buy tickets. If not get over it.

• Totally agree about the ticket prices being a little high, who would you wanna see added to the lineup as well? 

• It's definite;y one of the best events of the year. Im hoping to see a few more trance artists than last time (Adding Above and Beyond would be wonderful) . and of course, Fedde Le Grand, Carl Cox, Laidback Luke, Porter Robinson, Mim0sa and Boys Noize wouldnt hurt either :D

• the only way ultra wouldn't suck this year is if ticket prices weren't $300+! why won't they either lower the ticket price or book acts we want to see? year round, we are lucky enough to get amazing acts come play for us but when the rest of the world shows up for wmc, the lineup always seems a little flat.  how about some variety? anyone who knows anything about edm knows that deadmau5, david guetta, and tiesto are overrated and draw the jersey shore crowd... who wants fistpumping bros/ guido wannabes jumping up and down and sweating all over them?
