UPDATE Au Revoir Simone's Miami show will now be totally free!

Even though shocked status updates, email blasts, and half-drunk texts might've pushed the rumors of Mamushka's demise into overdrive for a period of about 12 hours, there hasn't been any major fallout in the wake of that premature closing panic.

The new-ish party spot reopens tonight for Nightdrive and Stüssy's Art Basel Kickoff with Geneva Jacuzzi. And most of Mamushka's other Basel parties will go down as originally scheduled.

Next week, however, there's been a notable change of plans as the December 10 show starring Au Revoir Simone, The Blow, Of Montreal's Kevin Barnes, and Run Sevim Run will be moving.

The show's organizer -- Sirens and Sealions singer-songwriter and Mute Miami booking boss Johanna Viscaino -- has told Crossfade that "the show has been picked up by another venue ... The Electric Pickle [Grand Central]."

"I moved the show because I can't trust that happening again," Viscaino explained. "It's too risky." Au Revoir Simone with Class Actress, The Blow, Of Montreal's Kevin Barnes, and Run Sevim Run, presented by Mute Miami. Saturday, December 10. Grand Central, 697 N. Miami Ave., Miami. The show starts at 8 p.m. and admission is free with RSVP to rsvp@epoplife.com. All previously purchased tickets will be refunded. Ages 21 and up. Call 305-377-2277 or visit grandcentralmiami.com.

It is too risky.  They had permit violations and this guy is supposed to stake his money on the owner/manager saying its all good?  I wouldn't risk it either.  Although, yes, I'd have moved it to a bigger venue than Pickle.
